Dana, may I have your permission to use your poem, “An Idle Tale” as part of a presentation, entitled, “The Poetry of Holy Week,” to Austin Seminary alums and other interested persons in Oklahoma City and Shreveport on 4 and 5 March 2015? I would like to include it as part of a booklet containing both biblical poetry and a few classical and contemporary poets ( you and I would be among the latter). It’s such a lovely little piece about resurrection that I want to share it as an example of how Easter’s power and majesty can be captured in minute and mundane (and yet extraordinary) moments.
